When a store shows clear shoulder width, bust, waist and length, it is much easier to choose. Online shopping will always have a bit of risk, but experience makes it easier. I prefer simple designs that do not depend only on heavy filters in the pictures. Trendy pieces are fun, but I only buy them when the price is reasonable. Sometimes I do not mind waiting longer if the price is fair and the quality is solid.  
 
If anyone is interested in real user experiences, I sometimes write short notes about the shops I test.

It makes it easier to compare with an old pair of glasses that already fits well. Online shops that show detailed measurements and care instructions usually get my attention. Comfort around the heel and toes is more important than super fancy design. From my experience, communication with the store can tell you a lot. Everyone has different expectations, but real photos and detailed comments are useful for everyone. If buyers say the item runs small or large, I always adjust my choice accordingly. I do not trust only the star rating, I like to see detailed photos and longer comments.
